Picture it. Los Angeles. Summer. 2021.

The world was just reopening from the pandemic. A ruggedly, striking Actor was convinced to join a gay kickball league with one of his best friends. So he did.

At the same time, across town, a Bright-eyed, handsome Gaymer joined the same league, with his roommate.

Randomly assigned to a team of all brand new players, the Actor and the Gaymer met on the field. There was flirting, there were stares, and soon the Actor and Gaymer started a heated affair.

By the end of that season, what started as a summer fling blossomed into something more. They began dating. Yes they had some ups and downs, but they persevered. Not only did they continue playing kickball, but they travelled the world together, saw dozens of shows, and, with the help of their friends and a riveting performance of “Being Alive”, they were engaged 4 years later in the Summer of 2025.

Dorothy, that ruggedly, striking actor was Nick. That Bright-eyed, handsome gamer was Ryan.
